Art 175 & 176

Survey of Global Art I & II

Art should be experienced, a philosophy that informed the development of Art 175 & 176. Designed in partnership with the UH Department of Art and Art History, it uses thoughtful visual and instructional design to guide students through narratives, audio clips, close ups of art pieces, and dynamic infographics.

A core requirement of the Art program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, face-to-face sections of this course fill up fast. Online delivery was a solution for this high demand. Not only does the online version serve a large population of students, but is designed to improve student retention, achievement, and satisfaction.
